COVID-19 testing

Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results.

Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure. The results must be in English or approved by an Iranian consulate.

COVID-19 testing

Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results.

All travelers regardless of their vaccination status must have an original printed or electronic negative COVID-19 viral test result (NAAT: RT-PCR, RT-LAMP, TMA, NEAR, HDA, SDA, CRISPR, or Antigen: Rapid, Viral, Antigen Chromatographic Digital Immunoassay, Antigen Chemiluminescence Immunoassay, or Antigen Lateral Flow Fluorescence). The test must be taken a maximum of 1 day before the first scheduled departure time in the flight itinerary (if a flight is at 1 pm on a Friday, travelers could board with a COVID-19 negative test that was taken any time on the prior Thursday). Test results must include the traveler’s full name and at least one other identifier such as date of birth or passport number. The test must also clearly state that the results are “negative,” SARS-CoV-2 RNA not detected,” SARS-CoV-2 antigen not detected,” or “COVID-19 not detected.” A test marked “invalid” is not acceptable. This requirement applies to all travelers, including US citizens, residents, and transit travelers. Travelers may use a self-test (sometimes referred to as a home test) that meets the given criteria. Please check the source for more information. Some US states might have more strict rules regarding COVID-19 test types and where they must be administered. Please carefully review the rules before traveling to each state.

This requirement does not apply to: -Travelers under the age of 2; -Travelers who have recovered from COVID-19. These travelers must show proof of a positive viral test from the preceding 90 days and a letter from their healthcare provider or public health official stating they are cleared to end isolation. Mandatory proof of vaccination

Travelers are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 if 2 weeks have passed since their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson €™s Janssen vaccine. The US government currently accepts vaccines approved or authorized for emergency use by the U.S. FDA and the WHO. Vaccines accepted are Pfizer-BioNTech (e.g., COMIRNATY, Tozinameran), AstraZeneca-Oxford (e.g., Covishield, Vaxzevria), Janssen (Johnson & Johnson), Moderna, Sinopharm BIBP, Covaxin, Sinovac-CoronaVac, and Novavax/Covovax. Travelers unable to present a valid certificate may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.

Any combination of 2 doses of an FDA approved/authorized or WHO emergency use listed COVID-19 2-dose series are accepted. The second dose in a 2-dose heterologous series must have been received no earlier than 17 days (21 days with a 4 day grace period) after the first dose. Mandatory travel attestation form

Travelers must complete a travel attestation form before arrival. This form will be provided by the airline. Airlines may let you complete your attestation electronically during check-in or via partner apps such as VeriFLY. In this case it is not necessary to print the form, but travelers may do so as a precaution. Section 1 of the form below must be completed by all travelers while section 2 must only be completed by travelers that are not citizens or residents of the USA.

Fully vaccinated travelers who have completed the full course of vaccination with a Government of Canada-accepted vaccine at least 14 days before arrival in Canada are allowed to enter Canada. The Government of Canada might change this recommendation without prior notice. Please continue to check restrictions prior to travel.

Before boarding an aircraft for a flight between two points in Canada or a flight to Canada departing from any other country, every traveler must confirm to the private operator or air carrier operating the flight that they understand that they may be subject to a measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19 taken by the provincial or territorial government with jurisdiction where the destination aerodrome for that flight is located or by the federal government.

COVID-19 testing

Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results.

Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 molecular test (PCR, RT-PCR, NAAT, RT-LAMP) result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before the scheduled departure of their last direct flight to Canada. Travelers returning from short trips must take the test outside of Canada. Antigen tests are not accepted. Travelers arriving via land border must provide a test taken a maximum of 72 hours before arrival in Canada. Travelers who have previously tested positive for COVID-19 may alternatively provide proof of a positive COVID-19 molecular test taken between 11 and 180 days prior to departure. Travelers who fail to comply, or provide untruthful information on this measure, may be subject to a penalty or a fine. Travelers who are unable to provide evidence that they have received a result for a COVID-19 molecular test may not be permitted to board.

Mandatory proof of vaccination

Fully vaccinated travelers must have a vaccination certificate in English, French, or with a certified translation. The certificate must be uploaded digitally into the ArriveCAN app and must contain all details required. Fully vaccinated travelers must have received a full course of vaccination with an accepted vaccine. The accepted 2 dose vaccines are: -AstraZeneca/COVISHIELD (ChAdOx1-S, Vaxzevria, AZD1222) -Bharat Biotech (Covaxin, BBV152 A, B, C) -Janssen/Johnson & Johnson -Moderna (mRNA-1273) -Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty, tozinameran, BNT162b2) -Sinopharm BIBP (BBIBP-CorV) -Sinovac (CoronaVac, PiCoVacc) Travelers that have received a combination of 2 accepted vaccines are considered fully vaccinated. Travelers must have received their last dose at least 15 days before departure. Travelers who have recovered from COVID-19 are still required to have a full course of one of the approved vaccines to be considered fully vaccinated. Travelers who are unable to present a valid certificate, or who do not adhere, may be required to comply with the requirements for unvaccinated travelers, or may be liable to a monetary penalty.

Mandatory contact information form via ArriveCAN

All travelers are required to submit a quarantine plan and a COVID-19 “self-assessment” a maximum of 72 hours before arrival. The information must be submitted digitally through the ArriveCAN app. Travelers who fail to comply, or provide untruthful information, such as vaccination status or quarantine accommodation details, may be subject to a penalty or a fine.

Anyone who cannot submit the information through the app, because of a disability or “inadequate infrastructure,” will need to contact the government using a toll-free telephone number prior to starting their trip.

Mandatory Entry Form

Travelers must complete an Entry Form online a maximum of 72 hours before departure to Turkey. A private HES code will be created automatically by the given information. Travelers must show proof of having completed the form or their HES code. Travelers may be required to show HES code when entering some places like museums, art galleries, and some other indoor public places.

COVID-19 testing

Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results .

Travelers arriving in Dubai from United States (see 203 additional countries) must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure. The result must be an official and printed certificate in English or Arabic. PCR certificates in other languages are acceptable if they can be validated at the originating station.

Certificates that have already been presented for travel to another destination can’t be used for re‑entry even if they are still within the validity period.

Some airlines may have more strict requirements for COVID-19 testing, please contact them directly for more details.
